ONE
WEEK ITINERARY - ROUTE A
1 st DAY TROGIR --- SICENICA COVE --- STUPICA
VELA COVE --- KAPRIJE ( 27 NM )
The
end of first leg of your cruise can be island
of Kaprije, twenty seven miles away from
Trrogir. After few hours of sailing along shore
you have opportunity to take break in Sicenica
cove. Anchor in the innermost part of cove. It
is well sheltered from all winds. Alternatively
you may stop in the cove of Stupica Vela on
Zirje island. Avoid it when sirocco blows. In
the early afternoon start for the Kaprije,
village and small port at the end of the bay on
west coast of the island. Moor on east side of
pier. Restaurant and small grocery. Number of
berths are limited. If you can not find place
for mooring there, proceed to eight miles far
ACI marina Vodice.
2nd DAY KAPRIJE --- SMOKVICA VELA ISLET --- LAVSA
ISLET --- PISKERA ( 15 NM )
Today you can head for Piskera. Eleven miles
away is a Smokvica Vela islet, and if you
decide to stop, enter in to a Lojena cove.
There is a few seasonally inhabited houses on
south coast of the islet. Drop the anchor at
the bottom of the cove. During the unstabile
weather proceed directly to Lavsa. Sailing
through Kornat channel you should pay attention
on reefs and shallows. Lavsa is the cove on the
northern coast of the islet of the same name.
The cove is a good anchorage and shelter , but
with strong nord winds blowing, go to the
Piskera marina, which is only one and half mile
away. Marina is situated on northern coast of
the islet of Panitula Vela. Showers with hot
water, restaurant. Electric power and water in
limited supply. You have to pay for ticket each
day you spend in the Kornati National Park.
3th DAY PISKERA --- VRULJE --- TELASCICA
BAY -- ZUT ( 15 NM )
Continue to head north-west and you will see
islets of Rasip Veli and Rasip Mali where you
can turn to Vrulje on Kornat Island for a
break. Vrulje is small village in the west
prong of the bay. Alternativelly proceed to the
another stop over, cove of Mir, meaning
'peace', in the Telascica bay. Find mooring
bouys ready to pick. There is a posibility to
take fifteen minute stroll to beautiful salt
lake. To get to Zut from Telascica bay you have
to pass through Mala Proversa follows port and
starboard lights of the passage. ACI marina is
situated in the cove of Podrazanj which is part
of the long Zut inlet on the northeastern coast
of the island of Zut. During strong north-east
wind anchorage in eastern part of marina pier
is recommended, while during strong sirocco it
is safer to use the western part of the pier.
Showers with hot water, restaurant, small
grocery, electric power and water.
4th DAY ZUT --- VRGADA ISLET --- MURTER
Leaving Zut head to Islet of Vrgada, nice place
for swimming, either on the west side of the
shoal that spans the Islets of Artina and
Vrgada. You will choose your side depending on
prevailing wind. From here on to Murter it is
four miles. Here you will sail down the channel
between Zminjak and Veliki Vinik and around
islet of Tegin and enter the cove shaping
course south-west. Marina is situated in cove
of Hramina, on Murter island which is connected
with mainland by small bridge. All facilities.
5th DAY MURTER --- TIJASCICA COVE --- PRIMOSTEN
Moving south-east following Murter coast toward
islet of Tijat, you have opportunity to stop in
Tijascica cove, which is a fourteen miles away
from Murter. This is uninhabited cove on the
south-east coast of Tijat. You can drop the
anchor in the bottom of the cove. As the cove
open to south-east, avoid it when sirocco
blowes. Continue to sail to Primosten, village
on mainland. Moor on one of the some twenty
berths equipped with mooring lines and power
and water points along the breakwater. In the
case that you do not find berth place, proceed
to mile and half far marina Kremik in the Peles
bay.
6th DAY PRIMOSTEN --- STARI TROGIR COVE ---
TROGIR
Return to Trogir
following the mainland, and if you would like
to stop enter to Stari Trogir, meaning 'Old
Trogir'. It is a bay on half way from Primosten
to Trogir. Choose side of the bay depending on
prevailing wind. In the late afternoon continue
to sail to Trogir. |
